Stephen Cooper serves as Director of Private Markets, where he supports the firm’s efforts in sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring private market investment opportunities across private equity, venture capital, private credit, and real assets. He conducts due diligence and provides analysis of private market trends to support investment decisions. Additionally, he assists client teams across public equity and fixed-income strategies, contributing to investment research and education efforts.
Prior to ArchBridge, Stephen was a Principal at a London-based single-family office, where he helped build a global portfolio of direct early-stage venture investments. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Ascension Ventures, a strategic healthcare venture fund with over $1 billion under management. Prior to that, he was a Senior Analyst at BJC HealthCare helping allocate the hospital system’s corporate and pension assets.
Stephen earned his Masters in Finance from London Business School and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri. He is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the CFA® Society of St. Louis.
Outside of the office, Stephen enjoys spending time with family, travelling to new countries, and reading the print edition of the newspaper.
